A little engine porn..

My shop finished her up and got her installed today, still a couple minor things to do. Boy is she LOUD!!!

And yes, it's a 3.0L, I just have this thing about Speed Yellow. All other parts were glass beaded and coated with Eastwood clear, intake manifolds are Eastwood Detail Grey.

Add about 10 lbs of road grime and old oil and you have something resembling my engine .

Not sure, my shop usually builds them from various parts but wanted to try these out on me. I'll find out...

Look pretty nice! One thing you could try that would really clean up the engine bay even more (if that is possible, it looks amazing under there!) is to go with an electromotive crank fire ignition system like I did. It gives you 3 coils for better spark, and they go up on the firewall. You put a billet insert where your distributor was, and then a simple crank trigger setup on the fan pulley. It looks very very clean and runs like a bat out of hell compared to a distributor setup.
