Rear Shock Tower Reinforcements/ Frount Mount Oil Cooler Ducts

We’ve began pretty extensive work on my brothers (Yermancars) 84’ 911. With his recent decision to turn his high HP street car into a track terror, a front mount oil cooler and coilover conversion were bound to happen. I’ve included some pictures of the rear shock tower reinforcement as well as the front mount oil cooler ducts. Enjoy

Oil Cooler Ducts

We originally planned on doing the RSR oil cooler duct plate, but after some consideration with the amount of horsepower this thing is going to make, we opted to do a through front trunk setup to keep front end lift to a minimum.

Nice. Your oil cooler exit ducts could perform double duty and also supply cooling air (albeit warmish) to the brakes, or to support your other efforts to control brake temps.

Another option is to squirt a little water mist in the exit ducts, ala Grady's "Rubbermaid Solution". This is our version:

Thanks for the input, We figured though warm, the air after the oil cooler is cooler than the air coming off the rotors. We also have more ducting coming off the front bumper ducts that will go directly to the caliper.
