Post 3.2 heads?

Before I get my 3.0 heads twin plugged, what is the deal with 3.2 heads? Will they fit on the 3.0 engine with the 98mm pistons??

Just checking, any info on the upgrade would be appreciated (pros/cons)

Adam

Thumbs up

3.2 heads have the same size valves as your SC heads, the ports are bigger and the combustion chambers are different. I am building a motor with 1988 3.2 Carrera heads that are twin plugged with a 98mm bore. Part of the reason I went this way is the motor wizard had a set of 3.2 heads that were fresh and already dual plugged so for a few bucks more I have killer heads for my new motor.

Some things to think about. Induction: 3.2 ports are bigger than SC so what are you going to use for manifolds or what injection system are you going to use. If you want carbs check and see what manifolds are avaiable for the head / carb match you want. PMO dose not make manifolds for 40mm carbs on 3.2 heads only SC heads.
