![]() It seems like only a month or so ago someone posted a link for a 2 post lift that was 9 foot tall and only cost around $1200. Anyone remember this or am I crazy?

This company http://www.americanautomotiveequipment.com had something approaching that price. I think it was more like $1400 delivered.
Having talked to them months ago, I know they were ready to negotiate. Doug

I'm sure you've considered this, but this is one item I would not recommend buying based on the cheapest price.
A Bend Pac or Rotary would be about $1K more. I wonder how much of that price difference is due to marketing expense and how much is due to superior materials and engineering. In the end, a grand might seem like a small price to pay if the alternative is a lift that fails.

I could not see info on the thickness of concrete so I emailed them last night....the following was in my in-bin this morning. I believe 4 inches is just the regular depth....I expected 6 inches.
"4 inches is the recommended thickness. I have attached the manual for your review……"

4 inches isn't much. Did they mention grade?
Also, can you send me that manual?

That is sooo sweet... I did not have the space and had to go with their mid-raise lift...
![]() But that is what I wanted... too bad I can't raise the garage ceiling/roof... If I ever move from this house I will build the next one around the garage .

Wachuko,
I had to go with a mid rise because of ceiling height too. Those are very nice ramps you have for each side of your scissor lift. How did you make them? Thanks. Tom |

If you are doing the same I suggest you go with 8 2x8 and make the ramps 2x16... the tires in our cars are wide enough that they tend to stick out in the 2x12. I will be modifying mine to make them wider. I also used some flat stock (3/16x3”) under the metal wheels to avoid having the lift crack the tiles.
