bosch blue coil on sc

Can i use a bosch blue coil on a stock 82 sc and get better spark over the stock black one or is it not worth fixing what aint broke. I got two blue coils from the junk yard one from a 66 vw transporter and the other from a bmw 2002 so i dont know if they even work. I think i once read that the blue coil is meant for points and cars with cdi will loose some power?

LOL,..It will start & run OK, but the output is not the same. You might not feel it though,...
