Starting problem solved
My 82 SC was suffering from intermittent starting problems. I would turn the key and sometimes nothing happened. I checked all the connections and changed the starter and it still didn't fix it. So, I ordered the electrical part of the ignition switch from Pelican and replaced it today. Everything works fine now. If you look at the picture, you can see that the old switch had pulled apart and had a big hole in it. I believe that some moisture had worked it's way into the switch via the hole. The night before I picked my car up from the dealer a few weeks ago, some Jamoke had left the window open a bit and it of course it rained. Oh well, it feels good to have it fixed.
