See my new vipergreen!
After hitting the gym hard for a year and getting back to my ideal weight (195) I decided to do the same for my car. Fiberglass flat hood, doors, ft & rear bumper, fenders, and lexan side/rear windows with pull straps, 15lb Braille battery, and removal of "all" the nonessentials. Yes wipers are nonessentials when your running victoracers on the street. Since I had to paint it, I decided to go with the ever popular viper green. It just seems more appropriate on this car. I still have to install the flush mount window kit and 935 mirrors. I think I have shed close to 200 lbs. (the car that is) This weekend I plan on taking it out for the first time since putting it back together. Opinions please. I still have the rocker panels to complete the 3.8 look, but I kind of like the way it looks without them. Besides they weigh 5lbs each in fiberglass, and do they really matter?

I LOVE it. Unless you rarely or never track it, skip the rockers. I want a viper green hot rod sooooo bad...

My car was originally vipergreen, then someone painted it a corolla beigy-silver colour. It's going back to vipergreen, just a matter of when I can justify the expense...

We need a better side shot but generally I think the no-rockers look makes cars appear like they have a higher ride height. It's only 10 pounds and it's right on the ground.

Put the rockers back on. They just complete the look. Sort of looks like the front/rear and side view don't match without them. Nice color, by the way.

Wowzer: That's always been one of my FAVORITE cars on here !
I believe it was originally built by Pelican 'Rattlsnak' in Atlanta, GA then sold to a good guy (another Pelican) I met in SoCal named Eric, and now it's moved on to it's next owner because it was, let's see, just a TAD 'harsh' for daily street driving.... -I wanted to buy it BAD, and would have LOVED it !!!

I'd put the rockers back on. I'd also put the original wing element back in the 3.8 tail.
