Congratulations! Yeah, and 16 yrs to save for the insurance premiums. Mine turns 16 this year. He will have to settle for the 944 though. Let him get his own 911.

congratulations, I baught my car 2 months prior to my sons birth, as I know I would not got away with it afterwards. Still get lots of nagging from the wife to sell the "old" car, but my son Matthew was taught to say Porsche by 18 months of age so its now two against one, the car stays !!!

Let me add my congrats, too, Fred! I have 4 and 6 year old boys. When I bought my Carrera last year the PO tried to pitch me on resale value. I looked at him and said "If I buy this car, my sons will inherit it." They love it almost as much as me, and I hope they do, a good 60 years from now. Congrats again and all the best in the world.

Fred,
Congrats with the arrival of your new boy. I, too, was blessed with a healthy boy on January 26, 2001. It looks like our sons are going to get a very nice car in 2017. Rich '86 Carrera |
