Carrera fuel tank paint colour/code?
I am replacing the fuel tank on my 87 Carrera and the original undercoating on the tank is in good shape but scratched from handling. Is there a factory paint code or a spray bomb colour that will look original or very close ? I do not want to recoat the tank with more rubberized undercoating, just give it a light respray with paint.

I think the color was the natural finish of the undercoating...
When I re-painted mine I went the rattle can route and came across a light satin gray (either Rustoleum or Krylon most likely can't recall for sure). Pretty close not exact but better than leaving it as it was.
