Question Best K-Jetronic Book?

I'd like to get some recommendations on the best reference for owning, maintaining, and troubleshooting the K-Jetronic injection on my 82 SC.

I have heard a lot of texts mentioned, but I would like to get one that is very strong on test procedures and specifications for individual components, etc. I have already collected a fair amount of information on the general principle and function of the system, what I need now is a step by step detailed guide with photos, specs, and test procedures.

Thanks,

Olivier
82 SC

Cool

Best book I have found is Bentley's "Bosch Fuel Injection and Engine Management", by Charles O. Probst. A great book b/c sections on repair of certain systems are preceded by chapters of theory, so you can really understand how things work. The only downside is the book is not Porsche specific and I don't think a Porsche specific one exists, but it works great. I have the factory manuals and they are less than adequate when it comes to the CIS.

Great book, I found mine at my local B&N, about $29.

Nick.

The new Bentley SC workshop manual has lots of information on CIS, incl testing and troubleshooting methods.
