The good and the bad - help with a leak
Hello All,
My newly running 911 has a new and substantial leak. I recently pulled the CIS and put Webers on it. But I can't seem to figure out what is leaking. ![]() that is the pass side lower valve cover, the semi circle object is where the oil seems to be dripping from. The oil flow increases with engine rpm. And of course, it drips on the exhaust. I took off the valve cover and the gasket appeared to be good. I cleaned everything and put it back. But no change in the leak. Any ideas? I apologize for the lack of base knowledge. I am a 914 guy from back in the day, I just don't know what is what on these motors. 1978 SC with original 3l in it. thanks |
