Thanks Ray and great timing for me! I just bought a Targa with a top thats shredded. I just ordered a vinyl top from our host and will be attempting the recovering soon. From all the threads I've been reading re Targa tops it'll take some trial and error to get it leak and rattle free....this manual will come in very handy.

Fuchs provided the manual in PDF format, I just put it on my webspace so it did not have to be emailed around.

Wind noise and rattle..

I have had the top on my 89 Targa professionally redone and now it has developed wind noise at the front of the drivers window and a rattle is starting at the center positioning pin where the roof meets the roll bar. In looking at this manual "Targa Top Repairs", I see no mention of adjustments to the frame of the top itself. Does anyone know if the top is adjustable to help correct fit.
