Back in the game!
Well after a year and a half, I am back in the game. But with a 911SC this time!
Got rid os the 914 a while back and now hve located and purchased a 78 911SC. Will of course be dumping a bit of cash at it, but it is a very solid base. Look forward to talking with you all. ------------------ Get in, Sit down, Shut up and HOLD ON! |

A good friend with a very nice 914 (2.4L, headers, race brakes and suspension, frame off restoration...) was candid enough to tell me recently that he thinks his car is "more car" than mine.
I was respectful enough to also be honest with him. While I respect his 914 a great deal, it simply is NOT "more car" than mine. Not even close. I'm guessing you already know what I meant. Happy motoring. ------------------ '83 SC |

Yes, well though I loved my little "Go Cart" it was a ball, and drove like it was on rails.
It just is not the same as a 911. They both have there good and bad points, but, I just love and always have loved the 911.... Thanks ------------------ Get in, Sit down, Shut up and HOLD ON! |

Superman.....
Every 914 owner can whup a 911 on a given course, IF allowed....BTDT. The 911 is a more refined vehicle and should choose the course that IT will allow the 914 to challenge it.... "I" feel more comfortable in my SC. But I kicked some serious ass in my 914 on uninformed "others".... Just my $.02. Z 1970, 914/6 3.0 1983, SC cab, euro |

The 911 will win every time in a smash-up derby.
