New brake pads too fat.
I am in the middle of a break job. I just rebuilt the calipers and installed new rotors. When trying to install the new Metal Master brake pads, they are too fat to fit into the caliper with the disk. I have pushed the pistons all they way in. Anyone have a solution?
Thanks, Chuck

One of your parts are incorrect. You either have bad calipers that are not sliding in all the way, incorrect pads, rotors, or hubs (don't know if you messed with them). Don't force anything, I would suggest starting by looking at the pads to make sure you even have the correct ones.

Nice job John. Pelican mis-labeled D196R's which are for a 914. These had a D569RM Pelican sticker in a D196R box. I'll give them a call tomorrow. I appreciate your help.
