1977 911 carrera 3.0?
hey there. anyone ever heard Porsche offered a 3.0 for 1978 and 1977. I know of one for sale, I never heard they built these. I know of the 74 and 75 Carrera 2.7"s

Just under 3700 I believe... Better shot at finding one of those instead of 74-75 2.7 as they were rust proofing by 76

I have one,a 1976 carrera 3.0,these were not brought to the usa but some got brought in by individuals.
Very rare especially in the usa.awsome cars and they have 205 hp. They are not 6 figures cars but are worth more than 78 to 89 911s.

Just make sure the engine is correct, engine serial #s begin with 666 or 667, these cars do not have the value without the engine.

I have a 77 with a 3.0 out of an 83 built to Euro specs. A pretend one, but its a blast anyone. Your find sounds pretty cool.

$50,000 is a good price for a driver condition Carrera 3.0.
In Europe, The UK, and Australia they change hands for $50,000-$100,000. They will continue to climb in value. PCNA has recently started a registry for them. |
