wipers dont turn off...help

I turned on my car yesterday and randomly my wipers came on, i thought i accidently hit the switch but it was in the on position and now it wont turn off, can be a connection issue witht the wiper switch? so i just took the fuse it for now to stop it.

Not sure what year your car is, but this happened to me when I first got my '84. With no owners manual, it took me a bit to figure out that there is an intermittent wiper knob in between the clock and the speedometer. Hope this helps.

I had the same problem. If it is not your intermittent wiper switch then it may be your wiper switch on the steering stock. When I had the same problem I pulled the switch to find that the metal contacts were loose and were touching each other. Another way to describe it is that the contacts were loose and sliding around. To fix the problem I used pliers to crush the rivet that holds the contacts in place on the circuit board and the problem was solved.
