They have apparently designed a carbon fiber airbox ($175) that touts performance gains. Haven't we been through this before?

apparently there is a benefit to drilling / opening up the airbox on the 3.6 cars; the recent thread was about CIS cars I think, where it is worthless.

Justified or not, I've come to have my doubts about anything touted by Fabspeed, after Fabio was nailed on the 993/996 Rennlist board. He was apparently using several different names to extol the virtues of his company's products.
The claims for the products may be true, for all I know, but this whole deal runs on trust, and there are too many other vendors to choose from. Just my .02... [This message has been edited by tchanson (edited 04-20-2001).] |

I followed the Fabspeed debacle on the Rennlist with interest. The outrageous performance claims were only outdone by the prices they were charging.
