GHL also. Have heard no information on these. I have heard problems with B&B headers on this board. Welds cracking and fitment issues.

I have never heard of a problem with B&B headers, can you cite a reference to these problems? B&B mufflers on the other hand are notorious for cracking. I had 3 of them crack on me before I gave up and refused to buy another, partly because of the cracking but more because of the fact that their willingness to stand behind their product has declined with the years. By the way check carefully into their so called lifetime warranty.
As to the ss headers there really is no need for a stainless header without heat. Heater box headers were the answer to early fears/problems of CO (carbon monoxide) build up in the cabin from corroded headers inside the heater boxes. Now there is far less chance of this happening, the ss versions are designed so that the outer portion will corrode before the inner. Some sources of non heaterbox headers are B&B, or S-Car-Go. They are both quite expensive. |

I heard at one point that the SSI guys will make SS headers w/ no heater sheet metal. I think it is a special order kind of thing. Price was just about the same w/ or w/o the heater boxes.
