1974 fuel filter style change

fuel filter needed changing on my 1974 cis. i had to use the new style filter because the old one was nla. has any one fabricated a new style bracket to adapt to the new filter? can anyone share photos of how they solved the problem of securing the filter to the firewall? any help would be welcome.

I have the oem bracket that's used to mount the filter and accumulator, if interested.

This is the bracket pictured in this diagram (the filter is highlighted in red, the bracket is next to it):

The filter that I've been using with this bracket is the updated Bosch 0 450 905 016. It fits in this bracket perfectly. The bracket is designed with a flange to capture a hose clamp that wraps around the filter.

I'll sell it for $25 shipped in the US.
