Beginnings of a Porsche Sim Racing League (fFactor)

I started something up over on Rennlist that some of you may be interested in taking part in. It is in it's infancy and could grow off in other directions also (like using early cars) but right now it's a 997 Cup series in rFactor running known US tracks (Limerock, Sebring, Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, Road America, etc. etc.). Even the server location may be changed as i'm not sure my cable connection can handle many (20+) cars at once. The Sebring track is up for practice 24/7 as is the Teamspeak (for voice communication before, during, after the race) Server.

A relatively high end PC and a Logitech G25 wheel/pedal combo. The specs for the PC (min/optimum) are on the web page as is the controller info.

Come on tonight at 7:30 EST or so for practice, Qualifying is at 8:15, 15 lap race is at 8:30.

how does rFactor compare to GTR?
I was playing GTR legends for a bit and really liked the game

That's GT Legends by Simbin, who also made GTR, GTR2, and now Race 07. rFactor is from a different producer, has arguably the best Net-code (online play), and the largest amount of available tracks and car mods (from lawn mower racing to newest F1 series). what version of Rfactor do you have on the server? I've upgraded my rfactor to 1.255f I believe.

1.255F, latest version. If you have the Sebring 1.5 track and the PCC 2007 (Porsche 997 Cup) mod (we are running the Mobil 1 Supercup series) you should be good to go. Everything you need to get running is here - http://24.151.98.45:90/RennSim.htm

Again, 1st race of the season is tonight at 8:30 EST. Practice is from now until 8:15, Qualifying is 8:15 to 8:30, then a 15 lap race.

The next track will be Road Atlanta, the track link will be posted on my site later today.

Limerock Park is currently up and running 24/7 for practice. There will be "fun" races (no points) on Wednesdays, March 5th and March 12th and the final race for points is on Wednesday March 19th. Races will be at 8:15 EST with Qualifying starting at 8:00 and running for 15 minutes. Race length is 30 laps (approx 30 minutes).

There's an early 911 in the works for rFactor, but it's not ready or released yet.

No listing of what driver's aids are or are not allowed?

From the website -
"In Settings you may as well turn off all the aids except Auto-clutch, and set traction control and anti-lock to low, medium (or off). I’m allowing these two aids on the server to help new guys out but anything else is bogus."

Cockpit view is forced also, no other views allowed.
