911 / Boxster video from my wheel-cam!

I posted this in the Willow thread, but I think most of you missed it. The camera car was a 1999 Boxster with a mere 2.5 engine and Tiptronic transmission. I must say, I was extremely impressed with the car, and actually probably achieved faster times in this car than I did previously in my RS clone!

Looks like fun! Car's kinda too quiet With prices the way they are the 2.5 is looking like a better deal all the time. I see them as low as 11k here. There's even an "S" locally that I saw for about 21k. Makes me think..................

Wayne, they were all probably moving over so you wouldn't distroy their cars with that Ben-Hur type appendage attached to the side of the car.

I am disappointed I don't see more boxsters out at DEs here in Vegas. Seems like a pretty good way to get on the track for cheap. What is the verdict on long-term reliability?

Wayne, Here is a short video from my mount that we talked about briefly at the track. A little less costly then yours.

That mount / jack hole idea is great, can you post a pic of your contraption?

I use a mount by StickyPod (www.stickypod.com) and it works GREAT! Cheap too!
