Very nice... although I prefer black, with a 3.6 :-)

I remember reading about Gregg's S in one of the Porsche books, or maybe it was in an article of Excellence in the past few years (I think that's what it was).
If that is the same car, it would seem to be of quite a bit of value. Not only a really neat car, but put together for one of the great names in Porsche history, by one of the most important dealerships. The car has a really interesting history. Just guessing, but I'd think that car (if it is authentic) could sell in the 6 figures. |

The photographs aren't as flattering as they could be, but it's a nice-looking car.
It's originality makes it a bad candidate for cutting up for track use, though. ------------------ Jack Olsen 1973 911 T (3.6) sunroof coupe jackolsen@mediaone.net |

Yes, if there was ever an eBay ad that needed better pics, that would be it! I guess the seller is just another speculator from the look of the engine ... and its' current state of dis-assembly! Wrong coil, missing air hoses & pre-heater box, blue ignition wires
And, it sure would have been nice to know what size the wheels are ... not original- appearing, though I guess they are 15 x 8 and 15 x 9 with turbo spacers. Clear anodized spokes would appear more genuine/original for a 2.8 RSR-look. ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |
