1971 Motor Oil
I recently bought a 1971 911 T and I am unsure as to what type of oil I am supposed to put in the car. I have come across a bunch of recommendations but nothing definitive. Thanks for the help in advance.

Welcome to one of the best 911 resources on the web. It is customary for newbies to post a few (thousand) pictures of your ride so we can ooooh and ahhhhh.
Certainly you found the Ultimate Oil thread (Ultimate Motor Oil Thread or Why we hate CJ4/SM oils). It is 757 posts of reading! Cliff notes version: Avoid any oils labelled CJ-4 and SM. There is a consensus that Brad Penn Racing Oils (same as the old Kendall from the '70s); SWEPCO 306; Redline; ELF Excelium, and Royal Purple are ok. For old timers like our cars a 20W-50, 15W-40 or the like will serve you well.
