Ugh! I hate emergencies! ( a tale of lost wheel opportunities)
I was watching a set of 7 and 8x16's on ebay. The auction was to end tonight. I was surprised the bids were so low up to this morning, but figured it would jump up in the end, and so I planned to be here ready to strike at the end... right? I got an emergency call about an housr before and it was one of those deals you forget about everything else...
I just sat down and all of a sudden remember the wheels. Doh! The set sold for just over $500 plus $100 shipping I think. Somebosy got a screamin deal. Was it anyone here? Good on you if it was! ![]() Away I go to sulk...

you could use a sniper service to put a bid in at the last minute.
or, what I do, is set the alarm on my cell phone! Set it to go off 5 minutes before the auction ends, as a reminder. |

I think that's about the going rate that I've seen lately. Nothing smoking right there, they will come up again in that price range - don't sweat it...
