81SC Lights have gone crazy. Help please.

Hello,

A rock broke my front right turn signal lens and the bulb was not working either. I replaced both front turn signal lenses on my front bumper and replaced the bulbs. I also replaced the bulbs on both parking lights. I discovered the left parking light had corroded badly and I cleaned all the rust off and managed to put a new bulb in there. To be honest, I am not sure if all the other lights were functioning before the switch and the pelican saleman suggested I change them all. So they should be the correct spec bulbs from Pelican.

Here are the symptoms.
First, the left parking light never comes on. I assume this is from the corrosion.

KEYS IN, HEADLIGHTS OFF: R turn signal and R parking light blinks.

KEYS IN, HEADLIGHTS ON: R turn signal and R parking light stays on - no blink.

KEYS OUT: If you lift up on the turn signal, the R sided lights stay on. But if you push down on the turn signal, the headlights come on.

I read and edited this twice to make sure I am telling you what I am experiencing. Can anyone tell me what the problem is. Thank you in advance.

James

Search on "turn signal problems" or some term like that.

Here is an example of what you will find.
