Can anyone point me in the right direction so that I can increase the idle setting?

About right in the middle of the engine bay, near the top, you'll find the throttle body. It has a rubber boot coming out of the top and going over to the CIS airbox.
On the drivers side of the throttle body, low and towards the front (of the car) is a large knurled knob about the diameter of a nickel. It will have a slot in it for a wide screwdriver, but you can easily turn it by hand. Clockwise decreases RPM, counter clockwise increases. ------------------ Bill Krause '79 911SC Euro |

For me, drivers side = left. Sorry, I forget that there are RHDers on this BBS.
