Not Porsche, but racing. . .
I received a letter from Petty Enterpises yesterday telling me that I am a guest of Buck Shot Jones at this weekends Fontana Super Speedway race. I have unrestricted access to the garage and pits during qualifying and the race. I'd like to pick up some die cast cars and banners for the drivers to sign. Anyone know a place to pick these up in Orange County? Thanks, in advance. ---------------- Paul 78SC Targa |

Paul,
I'll be there too with the same unrestricted pass. I'm a guest of the Jack Roush team. There is a store in Westminster mall on all sports memorabilia. I think there's some NASCAR stuff there. There's another place off of Beach Blvd in Hobby City. They have tons of diecast stuff there. I think it's Buena Park or Anaheim. Have fun! Do you know if parking is included and do we get to park our P car in the infield?....just wondering. John '81SC Targa |

John,
Thanks for the tips. I'll check them out tonight. As for parking, parking is free for everyone. I'll check on parking in the infield. At the Kart race, I had to pick up my pass at the white trailer that is located at the end of the tunnel road. ----------------- Paul 78SC Targa |

Kart race? What's that? (Do you mean CART?)
I'll be there, but us lowlifes have to sit in the bleachers ![]() Hey, in case you guys are wondering, I'm not sure why I go to a NASCAR race, except for the fact I get all the tickets to Fontana every year. Plus, the fans are REALLY amusing. ------------------ -Richard '84 Carrera Cabriolet '74 911 Widebody 3.6 Project |
