More old BBS wheel pics

Here are some pics with the old tires off. Center markings read: BBS, 46/78,
130, 10, E50. Fronts are 9x16 (4.5 inners & 3.5 outers), rears are 11x16 (4.5 inners & 6.5 outers). These wheels were originally gold, you can see some of the tired old black paint flaking off. I think they would look alot better in gold. Thanks to everyone that provided information on these.

I just took apart a set just like this. Actually it was a rear wheel that I rebuilt from a 11" to a 9". It had 7" inners and 4" outers. I rebuilt the wheel with a 5" inner and 4" outer. Just waiting for the customer to bring in the other wheel for me to rebuild.

It also looks like you're missing a couple of the 5mm hex head bolts.

WPO, the picture makes it look like there are bolts are missing. If and when I ever get around to restoring these, I'll order new bolts from BBS. Are the wheels you have gold? I mentioned in a past thread that there's a guy in San Francisco that has a super low red 74 RSR with the same wheels w/ silver centers & no centers caps, might be an RGruppe member. Bob, your car looks great!

The tires were $1500 installed, everything is mounted and balanced.

I paid more than $4300 for these and I have all the receipts.

I have an identical set (in gold) - NOT FOR SALE - with street tires, so this is what it will look like on the car

wheels are located in San Francisco, CA

Price is $3500 - FIRM !!! + shipping

these will fit only the wide body 911

thanks

Jeremy, wow! Perfect set up, 16" & 17" "steam rollers". You really know how to put the right packages together, your M3's are great. I've seen a ZX7R in one of your past threads. Are you still riding?

Customer's set is painted black and the early style center set is painted black. I have an E50 set that is stock BBS gold and it looks the best.

You guys prefer these wheels with or without center caps? I think they look good both ways.

Gary, I've never seen them painted like yours. Looks good, are they painted or powder coated?

Mine are o.z. wheels but they look just like bbs. I have never seen another set of oz's like mine so they must be pretty rare
