Wayne,

Very helpful, especially when you don't exactly know what you are looking for. I also like Greg's suggestion linking to assemblies and kits. Great service to your customers.

great idea....i'm sure the exploded view will help sell smaller parts, ie. bolts, nuts, screws, etc.

Plus 1. I belong to another automotive blog for informarion on my truck, and I just hate trying to navigate it because I know how much easier it could be. Wayne, I want to thank you so much for taking the time to make PP an terrific experience.

I agree there - what I meant tho was that Wayne is way out font of other online catalogs for car parts.

You still need to catch up with Google & Amazon....!

Wayne,

Way cool. You have figured out a way to make it even better!

Thanks

Very user friendly Wayne. Thanks for the improvements and to keep us in mind.

Neat. Cool.

Wayne if you keep this up someday you may have the perfect web site. It is darn good site now but you keep making it better. Onward and upward!

Very good, thought of selling it to Porsche AG?

Using the brake disc example, you would be pulling the hub off, so wheel bearing kits, brake pads and sensors could be added to the "related" section.

Ah the joys of relational databases. Looks good.

I like it too, Wayne. More information sure makes for more confident shopping.
How soon will it be up and running?

Onward and Upward............

Very useful, light years ahead of other vendors, very complete and user friendly! All that's missing is the pinup picture! A class act as usuall.

We'll probably have version 1.0 on the site in a few weeks, and then we'll start improving it and adding things as we figure out the best way to do them.

Wayne, this is a fantastic idea. Additionally, if you could add dimensional data for things like your example brake rotor, it would be a huge help for someone who has bought a modded unit and has no idea what the correct parts are based on model year and type only.

Best,

Dave Austin

I like it, good job as always Wayne

Wayne -

Excellent; I like it a lot. Running Firefox on Knoppix linux to test as my windoze machines block much of your scripting. Only one suggestion: for the brake rotor example you have several images of the part but no legend on each part to show that image A pertains to '67 through '69, image B pertains to '71 through '72, etc. Might help with identification of differences.

Linking to relevant articles is very nice. Big plus for your biz!

you need to buy the Tech. Spec. Booklet for your car, if not a repair manual such as Bentleys.

failing that, do a search rather than annoying everyone by "asking the same newb questions everyone here had seen before"
