Suspension question on my 88 911

I have a brand new set of bilstein struts front n rear from a 1970 Porsche 911 that my friend gave to me for free. Now could i get these to work on my 1988 porsche 911?? I was looking at performance product and i noticed that on the part number the last number on the 70 and 88 struts were different. Just wondering if that mattered and if I could still put them on and be ok?

You could check the numbers here as well. I would say they would not fit. Even if the part it self fit the dampers would not be valved for the proper spring rate for an 88' if they were valved correctly for a 70'.
