Need help to check a car at Eugene,Oregon

If there is any Pelicans in Eugene Oregon 97401, can help me to check a 911SC 1978 that I'm bidding on ebay?
I'm sitting in Norway so it is difficult for me to inspect/check the car myself...

ok, looking at ad, I see it is at the sports Car Shop - they seem to have a pretty good rep. in town.

The problem will be to get a good PPI from someone else on the car. The only other shop in town that works on Porsches is crooked & incompetent (the guy abused his mechanic so much that he quit and got a job running coal trains in Wyoming).

There is another shop in Springfield (our evil twin) but I think they mostly do body work.

Anyway this area is not that big, so there are not a lot of repair/inspection shops. so that is just a risk factor. Again, I have only heard good things about the seller, but not a lot of things.


It is sure a clean little puppy.

The price is very very high however. Looks like $20k+ and... for just a stock SC. Why pay all that much + trucking it across North America + shipping it across the Atlantic ocean!

Doesn't add up to me. Unless you rfavorite uncle had one that exact same color and there is a huge sentimental value attached.
