need help finding cv joint washer
 

1974 4 bolt cv joint. took my axle shafts to a machine shop today. they pressed off the two cv joints and in the process they lost one of the conical backing washers between the shaft and joint. i cannot find a replacement anywhere. can anyone help?

can you post a pic or a diagram of what they lost?

also, this is NOT your problem - it is theirs -- they can replace the whole axle if they can't find the washer...

He's saying they lost the big washer that goes between the CV joint and the seat on the axle shaft.

thanks guys i found the washers in the pelican parts diagram. and ordered them.
