Who makes rubber brake lines?

I need to find a source for a rubber brake line conversion to replace the steel line going to the front calipers, like every other car I have worked on, eliminating the need to disconnect the line anytime you need to remove the caliper for something simple.

The 911 seems to be the only car that uses a very inconvenient steel line for this application.

Help!

the problem seems to be that there is not a clip that can be pulled and then have the tube move so that caliper can get off the rotor... I agree this is a pita. Be careful putting a rubber line in where a steel line was... but is probably ok.

If a banjo can be used on the back of an A caliper or M caliper, these would be the way to go. I plan to use them on my 951 Brembos, which do allow for banjo fitment

I'm not sure what caliper I have... my car is a stock 89 3.2. Would one side of the banjo push on the surface of the caliper body? Is there a proper "flat" surface there for that? Of course the ultimate is brake line quick disconnect couplings.... but too expensive for how often we need. Please update with pictures as you go on this... thanks.

Correct. One side of the banjo sits on a "flat" on the caliper body. The banjo is typically sealed by copper or aluminum crush rings. Brembos do have a flat (hence the reason they work for the 86-91 928) and many Brembos are interchangeable on these cars.

Your car has what is typically referred to as a wide A caliper.

I've got other priorities besides my brake lines, so i'm not buying these real soon. Not trying to make someone else the guinea pig here. Just pointing out a flexible line solution IF the calipers have the necessary flat. I'd check myself on my old stock calipers but i'm not a home right now........ shhhhhh.
