993 Radio Question (CDR 210)
 

I'm a new owner of a 1996 993. When I hit the #1 and #3 preset buttons on my radio (a CDR-210), the display starts flashing on and off and the unit sounds like it is switching between radio and CD, searching for a CD track. If I eject the CD during this episode, it sometimes stops and tunes the station in, or keeps "flashing" until I power off the radio. When I power i t back on, it works fine, until I hit those particular presets again. All other preset buttons seem to work OK. Wierd !!?? Any experience out there with this issue ?

Guess this was a mystery ... the good news is it started working normally again by itself ....

I have the same radio. Doesn't quite to that, but its pretty bad. I "reboot" it a lot. I live with it, because I like the look of it, and I pretty much hate the look of aftermarket stuff, even though even a cheap Alpine would be so so much better.

How do you "reboot" it ? I must have done this by accident.
