Removing Mirrors?

Ok, I need to know how to remove the power mirrors from my 80SC. I am wondering about the wiring, is there a connector anywhere in the door?

Also I need to remove the windows and channels but I have no way to apply power to the motors at the moment. Is there any other way to lower the glass?

Thanks....

Pry out the glass, remove the motor. To get the wires out of the connector you need to first label the wires then push them out of the connector. You can make a small tool to help you. I forget the diminsions of the tool but it is like a miniture straw. Get some calipers and measure the connector, go to a good hardware or hobby shop and get some small tubing stock in brass. Then you are going to have to modify the tubing to fit. Then slide the tubing into the connector to release the catch and pull the wire out.

I move my windows with the switch, that is the only way I know how.
