I subscribe to Vintage Motorsports.
It comes every 2 months (thanks Doug), and it's pretty expensive...

I feel it's the best vintage publication in this country... the standard

It seems that the demographic focus of most vintage magazines is the baby-boom generation, or even a little older.... at least for now...
I fall within that age, and most of my friends who subscribe do as well...

I would hope you have some good advisors from that demographic to help you with your research and enterprise…

Would you subscribe to a vintage-racing magazine? Yes -- Vintage Motorsport, which is a GREAT magazine, my favorite of the 7 or so I subscribe to...And it is NOT a quarterly as Chuck Miller (long lost relative of mine?) said -- it comes every 2 months

Do you belong to any racing organizations? No

If yes, which one(s)? I do belong to the Porsche Club of America

Do you want to know more about your peers? Why not?

Do you like large high-resolution images? Sure

Do you like a lot of text? Absolutely -- I love to read, & I read a lot

Do you like automotive advertisements? Some more than others

Do you give magazines as gifts? No

Would you like to know more about racetracks? I like racing history, including history of famous road-racing racetracks

Do you like automotive history? Yes, particularly sports car & racing history

What is the highest price you would pay for car magazine at a newsstand? Don't know...not much more than other comparable quality mags

How much would you pay for a subscription? Not more than comparable mags

Do you like getting a new issue every month? Yes

Would you rather get less than 12 issues a year or more? More is usually better, although my wife thinks I get too many car mags already

What type of car do you drive? 2004 VW R32, 1988 Porsche 911, 2008 Audi A4 Avant (wife's car), 1998 VW Jetta Wolfsburg Edition (son's car)
