enginge number vs engine code
 
How can I tell if my engine is original?
The code in the warranty manual " engine code" does not match the "engine number" on the crankcase, matter of fact they are not even the same type of number.

They shouldn't be the same type number...what are they? It's easy to look them up. I'll do that for you...
