Black car, carrera script color options

My spring project is to apply a carrera script on my 85 targa. The problem is, I'm having a hard time deciding on the color for the script. As it sits right now, my fuchs are fully polished, but I'm going to paint them the same color as the script. (except for the lip).
My original intent was to use red. That was inspired by Waynes car. But after looking at it, I think that the chrome window trim, door handles, and mirrors on the early 70's cars sets off the red script nicely. Since mid 80's are all black. It doesn't seem to look as good. I've even thought about going with a tan color to match the interior. I've gone through 100's of pictures here and around the net to find varying script colors on black cars. Would anyone happen to have a collection of pics of this type?
thanks,
jim

Black - red combo with black trim

Black with red stripe, red wheels, red interior and black trim instead of chrome.

I would be interested in looking at a black car with a flat black script? How would this look?

black car black script

My car had that combo and the result was that (white) wax build up on the edges of the letters made it look odd. When it was clean it was just about invisible. I don't think it really worked.

Hmmm. Plain Black/Black, Black.
Looks mean and cool.
However, if I was to put script on, it would be white. subtle is the key for me.
My Targa has all black badges. The Targa script on the halo is black and the 911 Sc script on the trunk is black.

Silver script looks nice on black

You won't like my vote. "P-O-R-S-C-H-E" in old skool style (as shown above, or Olsens BB2) is as far as I go when it comes to stickering up the car. I think the "Carrera" thing is way over used, and beyond played out.
Stickers don't make cars.
However, if you must, silver.

thanks for the replies so far.

I have not ruled out "porsche" as on jacks car. I have a couple pics of BB2 in my collection.

Silver is also a color I'm considering. Do you think there will be enough contrast between a polished lip and a silver center. I like the whole idea of the center being the same color as the script or lettering.

For some reason I cant get "tan" out of my head. Maybe I should get someone to photoshop Ggalts car with silver, tan, or maybe blue. Tan looks good against black on the interior, so why not the exterior too. Definitely wouldn't be a color you'd see every day.

+1, flat black

Playing different finishes of silver off each other is very sophisticated. That wheel is sweeet.
I am afraid Tan would end up looking odd, like it was yellow and faded, or was white and got dirty.

I wonder if MikeZ can make you the side script in a more reflective silver. I had him make the side script for me in traditional silver for my GP White car. not that I'd like that much shiny stuff on my car, but with the chrome wheels and chrome trim, it might be an option.

My personal preference on a black car would be silver first, red second.
