will 7" torque thrusts fit a SWB w/o flares?
looking at some 7X15 torque thrusts. has anyone tried fitting same to an un-flared SWB? 4-3/4 backspacing and an overall width around 8 inches seems a little wide. any info MUCH appreciated. Don.
* finally put a set of deep six hearts together and these come along!

It'll depend on a few things, 205 width should fit, of course ride height and tire section width needs to be considered as all cars and tire brands are a little different, a 195 might be a safer bet.
BTW the backspace on Fuchs later (70's) 15x 7" is 4.9" so you'll need to check your inside clearances, but it's generally the fenders that are a problem. Hopefully someone with realworld experience is lurking! |
