Question Motronic airflow meter question

I would like to know if anyone is aware of the inner workings of the Carrera's airflow meter. To be more specific, I need to know if there is a intake air temp sensor built into the airflow meter and if so, which pins correspond to it? Volkswagen 4 cylinder engines that use Digifant injection have an identical (but smaller) airflow meter and they do incorporate an air temp sensor. I would like to know my intake air temp before and after the intercooler, without having to install an aftermarket sensor setup.
Thanks

Mike

It does have an air temp sensor. It is a non-linear NTC thermistor. Pinouts are in Bentley and (I think) Haynes manual.
