front mtd oil cooler

I have some questions to those of you who have added front mounted oil coolers. Have you purchased a new valance or cut your existing one? My specific application is for an 86 Carrera and Mocal oil cooler. Also, what did you do with your front license plate?

As far as I know, you need to replace your bumper with IROC style, the one has a big retangular intake in the front. That's what I'm planning to do also. I got the bumper but not the oil cooler yet. I'm still shopping around. Let me know if you have any our resource. B&B is just unreasonable.

I already have the oil cooler, I need the bumper/valence! I think I am going to attempt to cut the valence and see how it looks. I am hoping somebody has already done this and can post pics. ?????
