Question HEETSHEET, efective or a waste of money?

Does the heetsheet efectively increase a porsche engine´s cooling capacity?
Any opinions about this product?

I looked at the "Heatsheets" with a view to installing them on my SC. The side that the cat is on gets hotter than hell, and anything would help. But since I put on a test pipe and put the cat into storage, there is far less heat to worry about.

All the Heatsheets are is pieces of thin metal (SS?) bolted to some of the valve cover studs, using metric threaded nut couplers to space out the sheet an inch or so. You could make all this yourself for a few bucks.

I have it...

I am beginning to think it was a waste of money. The more things I try to do to make this car better, the more I end up taking aftermarket items off.

For my type of driving, I have found the Porsche engineering team to be right on. I do daily driving, and auto-cross.

You can also buy the factory heat shield versions.
