Early car horn grills
Does anyone make the Horn grills for the early cars out of fiberglass?

The 1973 black ones are plastic. That's as close as you will get.

Interesting thought. Give me some more of your thinking. A FG surround to insert some mesh sounds good to me.
BTW, FG is not ideal for some parts that are cast to begin with. The back of a FG part is generally open for the laminating process unless a compression mold is used. IOW, it would be hard to make the vanes. |
