My 1984 911 was originally imported to the US market. Has MPH over KMH. The car now lives in "metric" Canada. I want to replace with a KMH/MPH speedo. Anyone have one used?
I want to adjust the new speedo's odometer converted to match the "miles" on the original. Idea's? can this be done? Suggestions??? |

I recently did this. I had a MPH speedo, but live in Ottawa and wanted a Kph speedo.
I found some someone on this BBS who was looking for a Mph speedo, so we swapped. I opened them up, and set them to the corrected odometer readings. It isn't hard to do. Tony '78 911SC |

Hope this helps. Andy Boyle (UK) '69 911E |

Hey KLF...if critter (Courtenay is just so dog-gone lovely!) can't help you, try:
http://www.paspeedo.com They fixed up a club member's speedo with a new metric face and whatever else he needed. They are the VDO experts. ------------------ Doug '81 SC Coupe (aka: "Blue Bomber") Canada West Region PCA members.home.net/zielke/911SC.htm |

I will second the reccomendation for Palo Alto Speedometer, They converted my stock 85 MPH to 150. Only took a couple days. Came back looking like new.
