Looking for insights on Hwy 12 southern Utah

We're planning a road trip! Prescott, AZ to Southern Utah to run Hwy 12 (written up in Road and Track last month) WE got some excellent motel recommendations but really interested in the road itself. Great views are a given. Is it two lane all the way? Are passing opportunities ample or limited? We're running with my '75 Carrera and a supercharged Lotus Elise and a C4. Like to hear from anyone who lives anywhere near this route (possible lunch or ? meet) and of course we're interested in your take on the overall experience up there.

We'll be running the 191 Devil's Highway in eastern AZ later this spring (Apline to Morenci) If you've never run this it's Arizona's answer to the Dragon's Tail... 90 miles from 8800 ft. down to 3500 ft. with so many twisties you'll be arm weary (over 350 turns no guard rails) but you'll be smiling like the Joker!
