Finally back on the road

Well its been four years since I drove it home and started going thru the old girl. I got my plates yesterday and went for the first drive since I brought it home. I'm sure Ive still got some sorting out to do, the hood doesnt' want to stay latched for one thing and the tach doesn't work. But it still made me smile, the engine feels strong and the transmision shifts OK.

Here is when I brought it home.

The original color was silver and the black paint was in poor shape so I repainted it back to silver. I also wasn't crazy about the 73 rubber bumpers so I put on the chrome ones.

And a few pics today.
