1968 911L engine size - authenticity question.

In 1968 the 911T had 130 bhp engine and was only offered in Europe.
The 1968 911L (Luxury) had the same appointments as the 911S and was offered in both the US and Europe. I think the 911L was only produced with a 130bhp motor for both the US and European markets. Did the 1968 model year 911L ever have a 160 bhp engine like that of the 911S. The 911S for 1968 was only offered in the European market and had a 160 bhp motor. (I think I stumbled upon a 1968 911S imported from Europe.)
Cheers

Thank a million John.

My instincts were that the L never came in 160hk only 130hk.

Nothing to thank me for Chris ;-)

I just looked it up on this site: www.elferhelfer.com

Hit the FZ-Ident. button on the top of the screen TWICE and you open a new window where you can look at the specs for the different model years.

You probably know that the 1968 911L was the same as the 1968 911S except for the engine(all trim, equipment etc.)

Hadn't seen the site, thanks.
Yes, knew the L was the S with the same appointments - trim, equipment, etc.
Have consensus that the L was 130 hk.
But was the T sold in Europe a 110 or 130 hk.

I had it in my notes as:
Year 1968 :
911 T 130 hk sold only in Europe.
911 L 130hk sold in Europe and the US (same appointments as the S - except engine)
911 S 160 hk sold in Europe only (due to stringent US emissions regulations that year)
911 Original models of 130 hk sold only in the US

Saw that elferhelfer had the T at 110 hk.

Thanks Again,
Cheers
