Well, where do I start.... Monday I adjusted my valves on my 911 and find all my head studs loose not some....ALL. Scared me at first, thought they were stripped out, but torqued down fine. Weds. night coming home from dinner in the 944 when the cam decided it doesn't want anything to do with the pulley and drill my rotor through the cap. After pulling the cam housing off today, I find I have 2 bent exhaust valves. So what does my newly aquired bride as of May 5th say? "just go buy a new one!".... OH!! I love you baby!! Going to show her the cost of the new ones tonight, So I bet I will be fixing these....

feelyx, check those other valves besides the two obvious ones on the 44. Could be more of them bent.. I just did the belt and valve job on mine. Very easy to do, just take your time and check everything twice.

YEP, $55,000.00 for a Boxster...Yes, I think I am fixing mine. The 944 head goes in the shop tomorrow, I don't have the tools to do a three angle valve job. I will be looking into getting a rebuild for my 911.
