Is there some kind of trick to getting fuel hoses onto the tunnel lines?

Trying to install my new fuel lines on the front end of the tunnel and i can't get the smaller line on. Problem is my fingers are just too fat!

Any thoughts/ideas on this? I am big time anxious to get this thing back together.

Did you cut the crimps and now you're pushing new rubber lines on?

I used 5/16 fuel injection line - went on without a hitch. Try some spit on the fitting - sometimes does the trick, and is usually handy even when lying under the car. Downside is a bad taste sensation ...

Silicone spray? Silicone grease?

I usually out a little vinyl/rubber protectant on the end to lubricate it.

Lubricate the fitting and hose then heat the end of the hose with a hair dryer.
The heat softens the rubber allowing it to stretch much more easily. Get it
good and warm. Works on all rubber hose fittings.

I think between spit and a hair dryer i should be in good shape. my concern was that anything that lubricates the hose going on would make it that much easier to remove.
