I am relatively new to this community, and appreciate all the info and feedback on my posts. For those who are interested, I have posted pics of my '79 930 in the cheaters wayside gallery. As some of you may remember, I recently purchased this car. It appeared to just need some new paint, and was in excellent running condition. After a quote from a body shop of 3500.00 for fixing a few dings and new paint, I agreed and put it in the shop and went to sea. Now, after buying all new seals and ext. rubber I am up to about 6500.00 and it's not done yet (two months later). Apparently the car was stolen and trashed and then recovered, then sold to me. The body shop (may they rot in hell), didn't bother to fix the car, they just bondo'd over the damage and painted it. Yes, I know I should have looked into the history of the car better. But for those that will call me stupid, they mechanic I bought it through has worked on it for two prior owners and didn't know (so he says), of any damage done to the car. It was also affordable for the car of my dreams. Anyway, I have had to replace the rear decklid, the front hood, both doors, even the sunroof. The roof will take around ten hours of body work to get even close to straight. Thank you all that have responded to my requests for needed body work. I still don't have it all, so I may call you yet. There is not a huge surplus of Porsche sheet metal on Oahu. Well, y'all take care, and I'll see ya again in a month.

Tip: If you put a link to the web address at the gallery in your Pelican profile signature section it makes it really easy to see what you drive. Check out my signature.
